INTRODUCTION Effective Communication is significant for managers in the organizations so as to perform the basic functions of management, i.e., Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling. Communication helps managers to perform their jobs and responsibilities. Communication serves as a foundation for planning. All the essential information must be communicated to the managers who in-turn must communicate the plans so as to implement them. Organizing also requires effective communication with others about their job task. Similarly leaders as managers must communicate effectively with their subordinates so as to achieve the team goals. Organization persuades buyers to buy their products amp; services. In the office or the factory, the lazy, incompetent amp; disgruntled workers have to be persuaded of their works. Communication has been considered as the critical element in motivating employees. Managers use communication to improve employee’s sense of self-worth by showing reorganization, appreciating good work amp; providing several other incentives. Raising morale: Raising morale is an important objective of communication. Morel is the individual amp; collective spirit amp; moral condition of employee with regard to discipline amp; confidence. Management always tries to raise the morale of employees through communication so that they think that they are important for the organization. If employees do not abide by the norms of the organization. amp; Information plays a vital rules amp; regulations, it may become necessary to warn amp; notice them.
